The fight between Max Holloway Vs. Arnold Allen on April 15th Creates Buzz Online

Max Holloway Vs Arnold Allen fight

Max Holloway, a former UFC featherweight champion, will face Arnold Allen in an April 15th UFC headliner.

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reported the news about the Holloway/Arnold fight first.

Holloway will be making his first return since he lost his featherweight trio to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276, on July 26th. He won back-toback unanimous wins over Yair Rodrigo and Calvin Kattar.

Holloway is making his return to featherweight after three defeats to Volkanovski. If the champion retains the throne, it’s unlikely that Holloway will fight Volkanovski again anytime soon.

Holloway, before his defeat to Volkanovski was one of the most dominant pound-for–pound fighters in the entire world. He had won title defenses against Frankie Edgar and Brian Ortega. Holloway won the belt by defeating Jose Aldo at UFC 212. He then defeated him in the rematch via TKO in the third round.

Holloway will be facing a difficult test in Allen, who will be fighting in his second consecutive UFC main event. Allen defeated Kattar last October by injury stoppage, his 12th consecutive win.

Through 10 UFC fights, Allen has not been defeated. He has finished Dan Hooker, Mads Burnell and won a decision over Sodiq Yusuff.

This will be Allen’s most difficult challenge to date in his UFC career. He is now able to fight Holloway, the former champion after being left out of the interim featherweight title matchup.

The location and venue for the UFC Fight Night on April 15th are still to be confirmed.
