Kendall Grove a UFC Alumnus is set to return to MMA Fight as Main Event for KSW 78

Kendall Grove

Kendall Grove, a UFC alumnus, has not stepped in MMA cages for competition in over three years. But that is about to change.

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) 78 will feature Kendall Grove (24-18), in a rematch with Michal Materla (31-6), as announced officially last Monday. The contracted weight for the bout is 195 pounds.

The card will be held at Netto Arena, Szczecin (Poland) on Jan 21st and will also be available for purchase via KSW TV.

In June 2013, Grove was defeated by Materla at KSW 23, and the two fighters met for the first time at KSW 23.

Grove, 40, was last seen competing in MMA in August 2019. He also fought in bareknuckle fighting for BKFC in September 2020, when he was stopped by Hector Lombard after 110 seconds.

Materla, 38 years old, is a regular at KSW. He has fought 27 times and holds a 20-7 record. Materla has been 4-2 in his six most recent outings.
