Former UFC middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya Undergo Medical Treatment

Israel Adesanya, a former UFC middleweight champion, revealed that he needed medical treatment following his UFC 281 TKO defeat to Alex Pereira last November.

The Nigerian-born Kiwi described how he managed to overcome a pre-existing injury in his grudge match against his long-time rival.

Adesayna, who will be fighting Pereira in an immediate rematch at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida next month, will have the chance to regain the middleweight crown.

Adesanya cruised his way to another title defense and was in control of the fight for the majority of the contest. Pereira managed to force Marc Goddard, the referee, to stop Adesanya from further damage in the fifth round.

Adesanya admitted that he needed medical intervention after his third loss in combat sports against Pereira. He was also surprised to compliment his opponent for his effective use of the calf kicks during their fight.

Israel Adesanya, a Combat TV interviewer, explained that he needed medical attention after UFC 281 was over. “Not only was it the fight, but there was a pre-existing issue that I had to resolve before I could fight. Everybody goes into a fight with something. There’s always something.

Israel Adesanya stated, “The fight was going in my favor.” My footwork was compromised because Alex Pereira (Alex Pereira), hit my peroneal nerve. “Because I was curious even when I tripped, and I did the backwards rolling, I had to do an roly-poly. I have to give credit to him for getting those calf kicks. It was expensive for me.

Adesanya had accumulated titles defenses over prominent names like Robert Whittaker and Jared Cannonier before his first defeat at middleweight.

Are you positive that Israel Adesanya will be able to conquer his demons? Would you rather win against Alex Pereira at UFC 287 in Brazil?
