McGregor is expected to return at UFC 296, on the 16th of December, after coaching against Michael Chandler on The Ultimate Fighter. McGregor and Chandler both claim they are prepared to fight in the final pay per view event of the year. However, the UFC has not yet made an announcement.

Conor McGregor is still unsure of his plans to return in December. In the midst of his USADA ban, ‘The Notorious sent an appeal to Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel asking for help to make his return in 2023 a reality. He said previously that he didn’t think his fight with Michael Chandler would happen. In a recent post to X (formerly Twitter), he confirmed that a possible return could happen at UFC 296.

The Irishman said in a series on Twitter voice notes posted Monday: “They won’t let me fight in Decembre, Ladies and Gentlemen. I’m ready. I was waiting for the announcement. I have given my all. It does not look like this will happen. I thought that we had [confirmed] it, but it turns out it wasn’t so. I have the power, and I will continue to do my job. “I’m in an excellent position and I will see you all soon.”

McGregor tweeted “December is again on the table!” On social media, he has assured his fans and supporters that he may return in the final pay-per view of the year. The former double champ, who claimed that he had been denied his livelihood, is now set to return to the Octagon. There is currently no official announcement or report. We will have to wait for the UFC to make it official.
